Fitting this Saracen centre lock case

Remove the Saracen Multipoint (lock strip) lock from the door by first removing the handles, the lock barrel and the screws that hold the strip to the side of the door. With the Saracen lock strip removed, remove the centre case screws that hold the Saracen gearbox onto the locking strip, swap the gearbox, and put the whole locking system back in the door. Simple 20 min job using a screw driver.

This Saracen case will replace the gearboxes the current type Saracen upvc door locks and. Although the Saracen multipoint locks have different widths and different locking points, they use exactly the same gearbox to operate the mechanism. To identify which make of lock you have, look on the locking strip when the door is open, it should have the makers name on it.
