Cockspur Window Handles
Our current style of cockspur window handle can be used where an old style cockspur handle was previously. In some cases it may be necessary to change the position of the fixing screw holes that hold the handle onto the upvc window frame.
The main measurement that must be the same for a replacement cockspur handle is the backset. The backset is the distance from the underside of the nose to the bottom of the screw plate (see diagram). All our Cockspur handles are fitted with ‘Push to Release’ locks for quick exit in case of an emergency.
